About Me

I’m a children’s librarian from West Palm Beach, Florida.

Finding fun in pursuing age-old questions and the appreciation of cultures of the past and present, led me to study Philosophy and Humanities. Upon graduating, I wholeheartedly thought that I’d pursue academia but things didn’t go according to plan. I fell in love with public libraries during an internship in 2012 and never turned back!

I’m inspired by how public libraries innovate to build community and continuously work towards connecting people to information that enriches lives. From helping in navigating new technologies that bridge the digital divide, selecting materials that spark curiosity and connection, creating programs that bring smiles to children’s faces and ignites an excitement to learn, to contributing to professional literature, librarianship is as diverse as it is fulfilling.
